Pumpkin Spiced Tea
Enjoy a warm, aromatic tea with the rich flavors of pumpkin spice and a hint of sweetness. Perfect for fall!
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 bag black tea (or 1 tsp loose leaf black tea)
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg*, ginger*, and cloves*)
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bag and steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- While the tea is steeping, in another small pot, combine the almond milk, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Warm over low heat, stirring until well combined.
- Remove the tea bag from the saucepan and pour the tea into a mug. Add the warmed spiced milk mixture and stir well to blend the flavors.
- Stir in maple syrup or honey if desired for sweetness. Enjoy your spiced black tea latte warm!
Notes
For an extra frothy tea, blend the pumpkin mixture briefly before adding it to the tea. This adds a creamy texture without extra dairy!
