Delicate Brussels Sprouts Sauté

Brussel Sprouts are rich in vitamin K, vitamin C, and high in fiber, among many other essential vitamins and minerals. Even the pickiest eater will love these tender sauteed brussel sprouts! With Brussel Sprouts and delicious herbs, this recipe is a nutritious winner at any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts chopped or halved
  • ½ vidalia onion shredded or finely chopped
  • ⅙ tsp dried oregano
  • ⅙ tsp dried thyme
  • ⅙ tsp dried sage
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (or butter if not vegan)
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil/butter in a non-toxic pan.
  • Add onions and cook 1-2 minutes.
  • Add Brussels sprouts and spices and saute until crisp-tender (cut in ½ to check).
  • Serve and add salt/pepper to taste.
