Brookie Cookies – A Brownie and a Cookie

A blend of gluten-free whey protein, almond butter, and cocoa powder make this brownie and cookie in one super healthy. Eat as a dessert, with breakfast, or before or after a workout for a boost of energy and to help rebuild muscles.

Ingredients
  

For the chocolate chip cookies:

  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup Whey Protein Vanilla (MaxLiving Grass-Fed Whey Protein)
  • 1/3 cup stevia
  • 1 large free range egg
  • 3 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips mini

For the brownie cookies:

  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup Whey Protein Chocolate (MaxLiving Grass-Fed Whey Protein)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup stevia
  • 1 large free range egg
  • 1 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips mini
  • liquid stevia to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350º F.
  • Mix all of the chocolate chip cookie ingredients in a bowl until your consistency is like cookie dough. If it is too thick, you may need to add a few drops of water.
  • In a different bowl, mix all of the brownie cookie ingredients in a bowl, except for the chocolate chips, until your consistency is like cookie dough.
  • Spoon out 1 tablespoon of each dough into your palms and roll into a ball, swirling the flavors together. Flatten between your palms and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the brownie side with chocolate chips.
  • Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes or until the edges start to brown on a silicone baking mat, parchment paper or a coconut oil greased pan.
