Strawberries & Spinach Green Smoothie
This is a great Cost-Conscious Meal. A pint of strawberries and one bunch of baby spinach costs less than $5 and can be divided and spread out to make smoothies, such as this one; as well as simple salads, sandwiches/wraps, and many more meals.
Ingredients
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and quartered
- 1 scoop Vanilla Perfect Protein Powder
- 1⁄2 avocado peeled
- 1⁄2-1 cup coconut water (or filtered water)
- 1 cup crushed ice as needed to achieve desired thickness
Instructions
- Place ingredients in blender in the order listed.
- Cover and blend until smooth, stopping frequently to push down any ingredients that may have stuck to the blender walls.
- Pour into a tall glass and drink immediately to receive full nutritional value.
