Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup coconut milk* (unsweetened, full-fat, canned best without guar gum)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric*
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon*
  • 1 pinch ground ginger* (or ½ tsp freshly grated ginger*)
  • 1 pinch black pepper* (enhances turmeric absorption)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • *organic preferred

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine coconut milk and water over medium heat. Stir gently.
  • Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Whisk continuously to mix.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it warm for 5–7 minutes while whisking occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and stir in honey (if using) and vanilla extract.
  • Pour into a mug and garnish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon or turmeric for an extra touch.

Notes

For added variety, try swapping coconut milk with almond milk or add a dash of nutmeg for a spiced twist.
