MaxLiving Chiropractors Unite to Donate to Nonprofit to Help Sick Children

Orlando – March 11, 2019 – MaxLiving Chiropractors, nationwide, joined Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center’s “Have-A-Heart” Campaign in order to help sick and disabled children by hosting a Valentine’s Day Patient Appreciation Day, on February 13th, 2019. Patients were able to bring in a family member or friend for a new patient exam, and all proceeds were donated to Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center.

Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center is located in Oklahoma City, OK, and was established in 1962 as a nonprofit providing chiropractic care to chronically ill and disabled children. They rely on private donations and chiropractors to volunteer their services to care for chronically ill and disabled children.

Oklahaven’s mission is to help sick and disabled children restore their body to health and wholeness, naturally and drug-free, through chiropractic. The children who come to Oklahaven have experienced the gamut of medical interventions and come to Oklahaven for hope and to improve their health and regain functionality.

MaxLiving continuously seeks philanthropic opportunities and fosters the practice of chiropractic by promoting health and wellbeing. Partnering with Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center to support their “Have-A-Heart” Campaign allowed MaxLiving Chiropractors to engage with their patients and community, educate about chiropractic, and help sick and disabled children restore their health.

On February 13th, numerous MaxLiving Clinics opened their doors to “Share the Love of Health & Give the Give of Life” and new patients were able to receive an exam to benefit their health while also supporting the care of the children at Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center.

Dr. Marc Surprenant, in Charlotte, N.C., had his clinic, Family Healing Chiropractic, participate in the “Have-A-Heart” Campaign, “We were very excited about the event and saw that it provided a change in pace and added opportunity for our patients.”

Dr. Greg Barnes’s practice, Greenway Chiropractic, in Raleigh, N.C., had a successful turnout to their Valentine’s Day Patient Appreciation Day. “We had the video about Oklahaven playing in the office, and as our patients asked questions, the staff got to explain how amazing chiropractic care really is.”

Dr. Barnes used clever ways to gather even more donations and promote the power of chiropractic, “We had a “spare change” box where patients very graciously donated loose change. We would definitely love to participate in an event like this again!”

Dr. Ravi Jitta, at Tradition Family Chiropractic, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., said that it was an effective and meaningful method of demonstrating how powerful chiropractic can be and brought more attention to the pediatric chiropractic service they offer. “We had a great Patient Appreciation Day. We felt that we made a difference in local kids’ lives, but also in the lives of kids at Oklahaven!”

MaxLiving recently donated all proceeds from the new patient exams to Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center. Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center and MaxLiving continue to build a network of love, inspiration, and support through chiropractic care.
