Meet The Doctor
Dr. Marilyn graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston in 2017. She continued her education at Life University to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic, graduating Valedictorian of her class in 2021. After graduation, she worked in Columbia, South Carolina, receiving advanced training from the largest female-owned health clinic in the country in spinal correction, nutrition, exercise, and detoxification.
As a MaxLiving doctor in Katy, Texas, what Dr. Marilyn loves most about natural chiropractic care is that it helps to find the root cause of imbalance in the body and mind, instead of simply masking the symptoms. She is certified in teaching the 5 Essentials of Health through a wide range of health workshops to groups ranging from large corporations to local businesses, churches, schools, and other organizations. Her passion is encouraging her patients to experience the true meaning of health. Whether it’s through minimizing the use of medication, preventing illness and disease, restoring mental health, or living a pain-free life, she believes everyone deserves to live up to their God-given potential.
When she isn’t spreading the message of Chiropractic, Dr. Marilyn loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys latin dancing, traveling, and trying new foods from different cultures.

While this includes injuries from a wide range of sports and activities, not just those specific to the spring, Americans tend to participate in more sports and physical activities during the warm months, including the spring and summer…
Sunday. The day of rest. This notion has distinctly biblical roots, as on the seventh day, God rested after creating the world. Life in 2023 still mirrors this story. We spend Monday through Friday creating our lives through our chosen careers; Saturday is spent mostly running errands in support of our lifestyle; and finally, on Sunday, maybe after religious service, most of us rest and unwind—until those last few hours when we start thinking about getting…
