Services
The Webster Technique
The Webster Technique, in common terms, is a specific type of adjustment in the sacral region of the spine (the lower end). This type of adjustment is well known for its effectiveness in helping expecting mothers achieve optimal fetal positioning or those in need of treatment in the lower back areas.
Prenatal Care
Chiropractic care is safe, gentle, natural, non-invasive, and effective. With simple adjustments, the nerves are freed and able to flow more effectively thus increasing overall function. Range of motion can be increased, making one’s pregnancy easier to bare the growing weight of the new life that is being created and growing within the mother. One of the greatest things about prenatal chiropractic care is that it is not only natural, but is a drug-free solution to relieve discomfort so that mother and baby can experience a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Pediatric Care
Pediatric care is much more than caring for the spine, but caring for so much more in what a child may experience in their younger years.
If your child has ever experienced or is experiencing the above Scoliosis, Posture, Ear Infections, Behavior, Low Immune System, Sleep Issues, and Injuries from Play or Falling, it may be time to visit the team of expert Chiropractors in Columbia, SC.
Children come to get adjusted just the same as a parent or adult would. Adjustments surpass cracking one’s neck but opening up nerve pathways to increase the flow and help the body to heal itself as it was created to do. Nerves are stressed or pinched when the spine is misaligned from falling or various physical activities, causing discomfort.
The team of Chiropractors at MaxLiving Health Center Columbia, are proud to serve the Columbia, South Carolina area with specialized and advanced spinal correction, prenatal care, and chiropractic care. They love to see all of their patients reach their greatest potential physically through their expert care. Dr. Courtney Law and their team look forward to seeing you soon!

About
MaxLiving Columbia – Columbia, SC
Our great Chiropractors are changing lives and making a HUGE impact in the city of Columbia, SC. Owned by Dr. Sarah Losby, led by Dr. Courtney Law, MaxLiving Columbia is the largest female owned and operated Chiropractic office in the country, specializing in advanced spinal correction, pediatric chiropractic and community outreach. Advanced Spinal Correction
One of our Core Values is Expert Care, Personally Done. One of the ways we live that out is by working to get better at providing the best possible care to each of our patients. Our staff and doctors take continuing education courses, attend trainings and conferences and work on personal development to ensure that we are providing the most up to date, state of the art, expert care for each patient we serve. In addition, we work with each patient on a customized plan for their circumstances and diagnosis. At MaxLiving Columbia, although we serve a lot of patients, every patient has a name, every patient has a story and each of their names and stories matter to us!
Pediatric Chiropractic
Dr. Sarah often says that her favorite patient is a new born baby. Most people don’t know, but Chiropractic care should start from birth. One of the most traumatic things to happen to someone is to go through the birthing process. Many children have lost function from birth because of the trauma that they endure at birth.
Our heart is to serve babies into adulthood – we see generational health change when babies are adjusted, learning the 5 Essentials from birth and ultimately, living a healthier life that they then pass along to their children.
Our office is full of babies and kids and we like it that way. Our entire staff receives ongoing, specialized training in pediatric chiropractic care and it is our intention to change our city one baby at a time!
Community Outreach
Our heart is to serve our community and to help those in need. Throughout the year we partner with numerous organizations. We know that no matter the circumstances of someone’s life, they deserve hope.

Sydney Taylor
5 Essential Care Coordinator
Sydney was born and raised in Mississippi, where she graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Chemistry. After graduating, she needed a BREAK, so she flew out of the country to Panama to work with a church in El Valle de Anton. After interviewing with Med School then the FBI, she found a passion for emergency care as an EMT for Lexington County, SC. Sydney then learned about MaxLiving when Dr. Matt Hux from West Columbia came to speak at Lexington County EMS. She became a patient of MaxLiving at that time and learned more about core chiropractic care. After attending the free dinners and classes at MaxLiving, Sydney became even more interested in finding the deeper metabolic reasons why symptoms occur and why these symptoms, when left unmanaged or improperly managed, become emergencies. She now is excited to work with a holistic approach to healing from the preventative side of medicine. She believes if we can take more responsibility on the front end, we can prevent procrastination-induced emergencies.
