Meet The Doctor

Dr. Jeff Stickel, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Stickel was inspired to become a chiropractor after seeing his father pass away from cancer. He achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1996 from Palmer College in Davenport. Born and raised in Des Moines, IA, he developed strong ties to his hometown and decided to move back to help his community achieve wellness.
Immediately after graduation he opened up his practice in a little house on Ingersoll Ave. He practiced out of that house until 2009 when they decided to tear it down and build the now ADIO building and clinic. Dr. Stickel and his team are passionate about helping people live more fulfilling and healthy lives through nutrition, lifestyle, and chiropractic care. They thrive to provide the best care and service Des Moines has to offer.

Dr. Jeff Gilbert, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic

A long time family friend shared real chiropractic with him. He had never been as he had not suffered the back pain that most people associate with chiropractic but this chiropractor took the time to share with him what neurologically based chiropractic was. How a properly functioning nervous was literally the core foundation of good health. He was hooked and the rest is history.
Dr Gilbert grew up in West Des Moines Iowa and graduated from Valley High school. He was heavily involved in Music playing in Valleys acclaimed Jazz 1 and the Marchmasters. He continued his education earning a health sciences degree and music minor from Central College in Pella Iowa before heading to Davenport to study Chiropractic at Palmer College. He has practiced in Ames Iowa, Urbandale, and is now a part of the team at ADIO Chiropractic.
In the Chiropractic field Dr Gilbert’s passion is on educating the community about how stress can break down peoples health and lead to devastating effects. He lectures regularily on neurological based chiropractic and wellness based lifestyle choices to help live life to your God given potential.
